Seattle’s University District could soon see the construction of a new multifamily project. A proposal for two towers that would bring hundreds of residential units to the city was presented to Seattle’s Northeast Design Review Board during a meeting on Monday, and the board voted to recommend that the design be approved by the SeattleNortheast Design Review Board Recommends Approval for Design of 495-Unit OneX Towers in Seattle
Total project size is estimated at 51,000 square feet. Units would range from studios to two-bedrooms.
In total, the towers would hold 312 residential units and 4,464 square feet of retail space at the ground floor level.
The design features "carved social greenways" to support social interaction, community gathering, and access to fresh air and sunlight.
A trio of projects is being planned in the University District by Onelin Capital.
